Which Car Should You Buy: 2021 Kia Niro or 2021 Toyota Prius?

The 2021 Kia Niro and the 2021 Toyota Prius are both quite similarly priced. However, the 2021 Kia Niro does offer a lot more in terms of features and amenities. 

For instance, the 2021 Toyota Prius comes with an inline-4 cylinder engine that is capable of producing 121 horsepower, whereas the 2021 Kia Niro is equipped with a 139-horsepower engine. Therefore, in case you want more acceleration, the 2021 Kia Niro is the vehicle you want to go with.  When it comes to fuel economy, the 2021 Toyota Prius edges out the 2021 Kia Niro by just a little. The Prius has a city and highway fuel rating of 58 mpg and 53 mpg, respectively, meanwhile the Niro has a fuel economy of 53 mpg and 48 mpg for city and highway, respectively. However, the Kia Niro has a 11.9-gallon fuel tank while that of the Prius is 11.3 gallons.

Now, if we shift gears to the infotainment system of the two vehicles, the 2021 Kia Niro has quite a bit of an advantage. The 2021 Kia Niro is equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sirius XM radio, AM/FM radio, a 10.25-inch LCD touchscreen and many other features that make this car better than most!

Therefore, while the 2021 Toyota Prius is quite a good vehicle, we put our money on the 2021 Kia Niro.
